3rd International Conference on Food Security and Value Chain Systems (ICFSVC-2026)

MNS University of Agriculture, Multan
January 05-06, 2026 Hybrid mode

The 3rd International Conference on Food Security and Value Chain Systems (ICFSVC-2026), themed “Innovative Pathways for Sustainability and Resilience,” spans five major thematic domains, each capturing critical dimensions of modern agri-food systems:
1. Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture
This theme explores inclusive and climate-smart agricultural practices designed to enhance productivity while conserving natural resources. Discussions will highlight sustainable cropping systems, soil and water conservation techniques, agroecology, dietary diversity, and food safety. The focus extends to the intersection of nutrition, public health, and agriculture, emphasizing how resilient farming systems underpin long-term food and nutritional security.
2. Agribusiness Value Chains and Markets
Efficient value chains are essential for reducing food loss, improving farmer income, and enhancing competitiveness. This stream examines innovations in agricultural marketing, value addition, processing, logistics, and digital commerce. Topics such as entrepreneurship, cooperative development, contract farming, and inclusive market systems will be explored to strengthen local and regional supply chains.
3. Climate Change and Environmental Challenges
Climate change presents one of the largest threats to global food systems. The conference will address climate risk mitigation and adaptation strategies, including drought-tolerant crop varieties, climate-smart technologies, ecosystem restoration, and sustainable land management. Emphasis is placed on community-based resilience, nature-based solutions, and environmental stewardship in agricultural landscapes.
4. Innovation and Digital Agriculture
Rapid technological advancements are reshaping agriculture. This track highlights precision farming, artificial intelligence, robotics, satellite-based monitoring, smart irrigation, blockchain-enabled traceability, and big data applications. The goal is to showcase how digital transformation can enhance productivity, reduce risk, and strengthen decision-making across the value chain.
5. Knowledge Sharing and Empowerment
Human capital and institutional support remain central to progress. This theme focuses on agricultural extension systems, farmer training, youth engagement, gender inclusion, and digital learning tools. Empowering marginalized groups and strengthening capacities at local and national levels are considered key to building sustainable and equitable food systems.
By integrating these diverse themes, ICFSVC-2026 seeks to generate actionable insights and foster collaborations that support climate-resilient agriculture, inclusive growth, and sustainable value chain development. The conference aspires to influence policy dialogue, encourage innovative research, and catalyze partnerships that drive long-term impact across agri-food systems.
